Event/News Submission

If you are organizing an event on-campus or in the local Putney, Brattleboro, VT, or Keene, NH area for inclusion on the community calendar segment, or to be read and promoted by WLMC Radio DJs, contact our News Director, Catherine Brogan using the email above. If you would like to produce a promo for your event, please see the section below.

Music Submission Guidelines

WLMC Radio programs a Rhythmic-AC and Deep-House format, but we welcome music submissions from a variety of genres for possible inclusion in our library. Airplay decisions are made at the sole discretion of the WLMC Music Director, and only material that fits our programming format may be scheduled in WLMC Automation. In order for your music to be considered for airplay, it must:

• Be FCC-Friendly for AirPlay / Edited for Radio
• Not contain any defamatory, obscene, indecent, or profane content
• Be of broadcast quality & appropriate for airplay

WLMC does not accept money, gifts, or other consideration in exchange for airplay or airplay consideration. Material that does not meet the above guidelines, is unsuitable for programming, or is otherwise inappropriate for broadcast may be declined.

With regard to musical performance rights on our station, WLMC Radio & Landmark College holds public performance licenses with ASCAP and BMI. By submitting music for our consideration, you or your organization represent and warrant that the music you submit to us that it is register with one of the PROs listed above, or that you personally hold those rights, and grant WLMC Radio: The Finn a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publicly perform your material. Additionally, since we stream over the internet, you also further represent and warrant that the sound recording rights for your submitted material are either (a) administered through SoundExchange, or (b) you directly grant WLMC Radio: The Finn a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to digitally perform the sound recording on a non-interactive, non-subscription streaming service.

Please submit music to the email address listed above. M4A files are preferred, but MP3 files encoded at 256 kbps or higher are also accepted. Physical CDs may be mailed to:

Any physical material submitted to WLMC Radio cannot be returned. No submission will auto gurantee airplay.

Music Donations

WLMC Radio is more than happy to accept music donations for our station. We can accept phyiscal CDs, Vinyl Records, Cassette Tapes, and more. If you are interested in sending us a donation of music, reach out to us via email!
